This in-person event will take place on Saturday 21st September 2024 at 15:00 GMT and we will be welcoming the Autumn Equinox which occurs on 22nd September 2024 at approximately 12:44 GMT in the Northern Hemisphere.
As the Earth’s axis aligns with the sun, equal amounts of daylight and darkness cover the planet. Also known as a Mabon ritual, the Autumn Equinox honours and celebrates the balance between light and darkness as the days grow shorter and the nights become longer, marking the end of summer and beginning of Autumn. It is a season of gratitude, transformation and introspection, a season that invites us to harmonise our inner and outer worlds and prepare for the winter months ahead.
